VMware Workstation 15.5.6 – when setting up VMnet0 – (Bridged) not available.

We have several stations running this version of VMware on windows 10 Ent LTSC. When I am configuring the new one…

While in Virtual machine settings – Network adapter for VMnet0 – I have “custom: specific virtual network selected”. When trying to select VMnet0 tho no option for “VMnet0 (Bridged)” is available. Just the VMnet0. No “Bridged” Networks are.

I have the proper setup in the virtual network editor according to the instructions. Vmnet0 – bridged is selected in VMnet0 information and the proper NIC is selected in Bridged to. The NIC has VM (bridging) checked.

I can ping the card from windows but not from in vmware. (it is on a fixed IP).

I have VMnet2 configured as abridged DHCP to connect to the larger network and it works fine. I can ping and get to the network.

Any ideas how to fix this short of starting over?

Regards,
