plymouth screen disappears during boot up for 20.04

Hello All,

I am using VMWare Workstation Pro 15.5.1 for ubuntu 20.04.

During boot up, splash screen gets disappear and it only returns after hitting ESC key.

We have also noticed that, when we uncheck the “Autofit guest” from Edit->Preferences->display, splash screen doesn’t disappears.

This indicates that, when VMWare tries to stretch the gui, it also impact the plymouth(splash screen) and which results in disappearance.

Could someone help me, how can we automate this during bootup, so that splash screen should not disappear.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
