Let’s say that we have a dashboard with one Simple Field.

– If it already has a value it is very easy to click it and change it

– If it is empty, you have to click some times until you locate the clickable area

Suggestions:

– change mouse cursor to finger pointer – like in links

– have a different background color to show us the clickable area

– when it is empty set at css the min-width to ex. 120px
