Big Sur client kernel panic on shutdown

I am running the latest Tech Preview on a MBP 16″ running macOS Catalina 10.15.6. My guest is running macOS Big Sur Beta 6.

When I shutdown the guest, it doesn’t shutdown cleanly. Instead, the guest kernel panics and reboots. I have attached a ZIP file with the panic log, a spindump report from the attempt to shutdown, and the vmware.log file. (Please note that these files are not all from the same panic but the symptoms are identical.)

These shutdown panics did not occur until after I added a second hard drive to the Big Sur client and configured it to use NVMe. (The first hard drive is configured as SATA.) Eventually, I deleted the second hard drive but the panics continue on shutdown.
