For multiple display workstations, video card updates, moving displays between GPUs and even upgrades to new windows builds can break the layouts.  I typically have VMWare Workstation run vertically across 2 of my monitors while the others are for the host OS windows, but when the layout options change to something that doesnt make sense, I end up having to reset all of my display configs using a registry hack and re-installing workstation to get back to the defaults. 

A huge bonus would be the ability to create custom multi-display profiles, but I’ll happily settle for a checkbox (or something) allowing me to select the displays I want to use.
