2 popup dialog boxes before starting my VM on Catalina

Hi All,

Am running VMWare Version 11.1.1 (14328561) and am starting a Windows 10 VM. Am in the latest version of the Developer Beta of Catalina (10.15 Beta (19A526h)).

When I start my VM, I get two pop up dialog boxes. 1st says “com.vmware.VMMonHelper” is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” and the 2nd says “com.vmware.KextControlHelper” is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?”

If I click Open on each dialog, my VM opens fine. I’d just like to get those pop up dialog boxes to go away. I know that apps need to be approved in the Control Panel / Security & Privacy area, but those two apps don’t show up for me there…

What do I need to do?

Thanks in advance!

– Jon
